Meet The Dentists

Jeffrey B. Dalin, DDS

Dentist in St. Louis, MO

Dr. Dalin was born and raised in St. Louis. He received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Emory University and a DDS degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school in 1980, Dr. Dalin began working with his father in his dental practice. In the years after graduation, Dr. Dalin earned a fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and fellowships from the American College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International.

Dr. Jeffrey Dalin served as editor of St. Louis Dentistry, the official bimonthly publication of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, for well over 20 years and currently serves as a media spokesperson for the Society and Chair of its Council on Communications and Public Relations. For over 15 years, Dr. Dalin wrote a monthly column for the internationally distributed Dental Economics magazine.

Dr. Jeffrey Dalin is the co-founder of the Give Kids A Smile program. In 2001, he served on an Outreach Committee from the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, which met to come up with ways to “give back” to those with no access to dental care. After months of discussion, Dr. Dalin came up with the concept and model for bringing in children, ages 5 to 12, and performing comprehensive dentistry on them. It is unacceptable that thousands of children are in pain, won’t smile, can’t eat, have trouble sleeping, and do not receive necessary dental care. Children are suffering and dental professionals have the skills and opportunity to correct this problem. In February 2002, dental and non-dental volunteers came together and performed over $100,000 worth of dentistry on 345 children, in the first-ever Give Kids A Smile Clinic. Since this program began, over 16,000 St. Louis area children have received over $9.5 million dollars of dental care. This program has won local, state, and national awards and recognition and was adopted by the American Dental Association as its National Children’s Dental Access Day each February. Dr. Dalin has served on the National Advisory Board of this program since he brought the concept to the American Dental Association.

Daniel B. Goldberg, DDS

Dentist in St. Louis, MO

Dr. Daniel B. Goldberg is excited to be back in his hometown of St. Louis. He graduated from Parkway Central High School and then went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. Following graduation, he pursued research in the Division of Bone and Mineral Diseases at Washington University School of Medicine. His work was published in multiple medical research journals. He then went on to earn his dental degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he graduated cum laude.

Dr. Goldberg is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the American Academy of General Dentistry, and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Giving back to the community is a priority to Dr. Goldberg. For many years, he has been involved with Give Kids a Smile and Mission of Mercy, both of which provide free dental care to those in need.

Dr. Goldberg values his conservative approach to achieving optimum oral health for his patients. Listening to the patient is critical in order to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that encompasses all the patient’s needs. Dr. Goldberg pursues a great deal of continuing education in all fields of dental specialties. He is committed to being a lifelong learner in order to provide his patients with the most modern advancements in dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Goldberg enjoys keeping up with St. Louis sports and the Indiana Hoosiers. Whether playing basketball with friends or cycling with his father and brother, he enjoys living an active lifestyle. He looks forward to meeting you and your family and treating your dental needs.

Andy Dalin, DDS

Dentist in St. Louis, MO

Dr. Andy Dalin was born and raised in St. Louis and couldn’t be more excited to be back. Dr. Dalin graduated from Parkway Central High School and then went on to receive a B.S. degree in Integrative Biology at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Following college, Andy moved to Indianapolis to receive his D.D.S. degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Dalin is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society and the American Academy of General Dentistry.

During his time in dental school, Dr. Andy followed in his dad’s footsteps and restarted the Give Kids a Smile program at IUSD where they provided free dental care and education to local children that had no access to dental care. The program grew each year, culminating in hosting the ADA’s National Give Kids a Smile Kickoff event during Dr. Andy’s fourth year. Since being back in St. Louis, Dr. Dalin has enjoyed volunteering with our Give Kids a Smile program to give back to our local community.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dalin is a huge sports fan. He loves going to Blues and Cardinals games and enjoys playing golf, basketball, volleyball, and softball. Dr. Andy likes spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and is excited to start traveling more. He also has a French Bulldog named Louie who is quite the character.

Dr. Andy’s favorite part of dentistry is the life-long relationships that are formed. He saw this first-hand with his father and grandfather and loves that you really get to know and grow with your patients. Dr. Dalin also really enjoys cosmetic dentistry and working with his patients to create their perfect smile. Dr. Andy looks forward to meeting you and your family!

Our staff is here to help you out in any way we can. We will do whatever it takes to make your experiences with us as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

At the front desk, you will find Lynn, Tiffany, Taylor, and Marsha. Need to set up an appointment or have any questions about your statements? These are the people to contact. Assisting us in the operatories, you will find Misti, Brenna, Gayeong, Yana, Tiona, and Caity. They work extremely hard to make your visits with us comfortable and efficient. Our dental hygienist staff consists of Anne, Anita, Janelle, Vickey, Christine, Mary, and Sara. They work with you to keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible.

We know that for dental care, quality service is more than just restoring a tooth carefully or fitting a great porcelain veneer.

For us, quality service begins when you first call us. We try to find a time that fits both your and our schedules and make sure that you know exactly what procedure you are having done. When you enter our St. Louis dentist’s office, we greet you and make you feel at home in our reception area. We also try to make the time you spend here brief. We take the time to give you a thorough, professional exam, using an extensive checklist to be sure that everything is healthy. If it is not, we explain how we can work together to make it better. We will listen carefully to your concerns and needs, then answer your questions.

  I had my first routine appointment with Dr Andy Dalin last week and greatly enjoyed the experience.  I found the doctor and staff to be most congenial and professional.   Dalin Dental is by far the best dental provider in Missouri. The dentists are very knowledgeable, punctual, and very nonjudgmental. The dental hygenist are amazing as well! The front desk staff are also welcoming and easygoing. The company does not place pressure on the patient to spend excessive money on unnecessary procedures.

  I have been a patient if Dr Jeffrey Dalin for 36 years. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the entire staff and especially give a huge shout out to Dr Jeff Dalin. He is the best provider I have ever seen. Professional, incredible at his trade, caring and goes above and beyond for his clients. These days this amount of care is rarely found. He also has 2 other fantastic Dentists who work there as well. I refer people on a consistent basis and honestly have never heard anything but glowing reviews for this business and all 3 Dentists.   Like every other visit, I waited about 30 seconds in the vestibule and was taken to a chair. Two or three minutes later, they were working on me and before I knew it, they said they were finished. With that question, the entire staff wants to get patients taking care of. I can't recommend them enough.

  I have been going to Dalin Dental all my life so that is approx 60/63 years now. Best dental office in St. Louis! Always up to date on the latest procedures and equipment!
