For many children, however, smiling doesn’t come so easily, particularly when financial difficulties make vital dental care an impossibility. At Dalin Dental Associates in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Jeffrey B. Dalin and his compassionate team believe that all children deserve comprehensive dental care regardless of their family’s socioeconomic situation. With Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) — a not-for-profit organization that provides free oral healthcare services to underprivileged children in the St. Louis area — Dr. Dalin and various other like-minded dentists have been helping underserved kids in our community find something to smile about since 2002.

Dalin Dental Associates: Giving Kids a Smile!

As one of the primary founders of Give Kids a Smile, Dr. Dalin has seen what an incredible difference regular dental checkups and care can make in a disadvantaged child’s life. Every year, we provide area children with essential general and preventative dentistry services, including exams, x-rays, cleanings, restorations, protective sealants, fortifying fluoride treatments, oral surgery, and more.

Clinics are held twice each year at the Center for Advanced Dental Education at St. Louis University. Treatments, services, educational materials, hygiene materials, lunch, and plenty of fun are all offered free of charge in an exciting, welcoming, circus-themed environment the kids absolutely love!

Strengthening Smiles Nationwide

The GKAS idea was so well-received when it began that the American Dental Association (ADA) picked it up, too, spreading awareness nationwide. Now, every year, over one million children receive over $1 billion in dental care because of the recognition raised by GKAS. Though we’re thrilled with this progress, we know our work is still never finished locally and throughout the country. That’s why Dr. Dalin, his colleagues, and the Give Kids a Smile team continue to strive for bigger and better things every day, developing new and original ways to provide underserved St. Louis area children with the fundamental oral healthcare and education they need for a lifetime of smiles.

  I had my first routine appointment with Dr Andy Dalin last week and greatly enjoyed the experience.  I found the doctor and staff to be most congenial and professional.  The doctor makes the effort to make certain the patient is comfortable and aware of all that is happening, and I was fully at ease with the procedures.  An all around excellent experience.

  Dalin Dental is by far the best dental provider in Missouri. The dentists are very knowledgeable, punctual, and very nonjudgmental. The dental hygenist are amazing as well! The front desk staff are also welcoming and easygoing. The company does not place pressure on the patient to spend excessive money on unnecessary procedures.

  I have been a patient if Dr Jeffrey Dalin for 36 years. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the entire staff and especially give a huge shout out to Dr Jeff Dalin. He is the best provider I have ever seen. Professional, incredible at his trade, caring and goes above and beyond for his clients. These days this amount of care is rarely found. He also has 2 other fantastic Dentists who work there as well. I refer people on a consistent basis and honestly have never heard anything but glowing reviews for this business and all 3 Dentists.   Like every other visit, I waited about 30 seconds in the vestibule and was taken to a chair. Two or three minutes later, they were working on me and before I knew it, they said they were finished. With that question, the entire staff wants to get patients taking care of. I can't recommend them enough.

  I have been going to Dalin Dental all my life so that is approx 60/63 years now. Best dental office in St. Louis! Always up to date on the latest procedures and equipment!
